The V&A East Storehouse isn't the first museum to explore the idea of allowing visitors to interact directly with artifacts. The Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam, one of the largest museums in the Netherlands, previously came up with a similar idea.

V&A East Storehouse in London: a museum like an Ikea store

A tour of the V&A East Storehouse begins in the ground-floor lobby, which also houses a café and workspace. From here, you can access the glass-roofed main hall on the first floor.
